Camp McDonald is very active in our community and surrounding areas. We participate in numerous civic festivals in the north GA area, providing people with information on heritage and cultural issues, as well as, promoting the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

We also maintain battlefield property in the Barrett Green subdivision that was of the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain.

We also maintain a 3 piece battery of Coehorn mortars and a full color guard for memorial services, parades, and living history events.
